Cell Fender

Felix supplies Cell Fenders designed to absorb the collision energy between ship and dock at the time of berthing for berths, dolphin wharf, offshore docks, and terminals. Cell fender’s geometrical shape gives it sturdiness, shear resistance, compact structure and the capacity to absorb energy equally from all directions. The Cylindrical buckling column absorbs axial loads efficiently and buckles radially. To distribute the reaction force, cell fender is typically supplied with large fender panels, which keep the hull pressure low.
